Zones, items, skills, quests and NPC dialogue are derived from RUFF ROSE game data, not from reimplemented guesses. ZNEB ROSE is an independent browser/server implementation built around those data files.
A private server with a handful of people on it. Registrations are reviewed, bug reports go straight to the issue tracker from inside the game, and a GM is usually reachable.
Any reasonably modern browser on desktop works. Your characters live on the server, so you can pick up on a different machine without moving a single file.
